Scientometric Analysis of the Research Output of Biochemistry, Genetics and Molecular Biology of Gujarat University, Ahmedabad

This paper presents a scientometric analysis of research output of biochemistry, genetics and molecular biology from the Gujarat University, Ahmedabad. The research article was published during 1980-2018. However, the data was collected and indexed in Scopus were considered for the analysis included a total of 400 publications. Various scientometric indicators have been calculated to acquire an appropriate perception of the growth and current status of research output of Gujarat University, Ahmedabad. The paper also analysed the publication trend of Gujarat University. The other aspects that were identified in the paper were the most prolific authors, collaborative authorship patterns and trends, most preferred publications, etc

Necessary metric-based indicators are considered to draw the conclusion about the growth and status of research outputs of selected samples. Several aspects like patterns and trends about authorship and publications, are also discussed. These include a ranking of authors based on a number of publications and citations, highly productive University from among the sample, degree of collaboration between authors, highly cited papers and preferred publication by the authors from these Universities

BIBLIOMETRIC ANALYSIS OF RESEARCH TRENDS ON ROLE OF DISPUTE RESOLUTION MECHANISMS IN FAMILY LAW CONFLICTS

This paper is a bibliometric analysis of research publications in the field of dispute resolution of family matters. The paper analyses the frequency of publications in this arena and identifying the research gaps. The paper utilizes literature published on this subject available at the Scopus database from 2011 to 2020. A total of 59 documents varying from books, chapters, articles, and journals have been extracted and analyzed for the purpose of this study. This data is further analyzed and presented in the forms of tables, maps, graphs, etc using VOSviewer and IMAPBuilder software. The study shows that even though there is plenty of research available in dispute resolution and family law individually, the connection of resolving family matters through the dispute resolution process is still an under-researched area. It is recommended that the research should not only be limited to resolving matrimonial conflicts but should also focus on other family relations like siblings, parent-child, extended family disputes, etc. Better funding and more advanced research on this topic should be encouraged

Bibliometric analysis of the Health Information and Libraries Journal (2005-2021): With Special Reference to Web of Science Core Collection Database

The present bibliometric study of the Health Information and Libraries Journal was conducted using Web of Science SCIE. Total 727 documents retrieved including 481 articles, 7 early access articles, 3 proceedings papers, 25 bibliography and related items, 10 book reviews, 8 article corrections, 130 editorial materials, and 63 reviews. The outcome parameters were the number of publications, citations, top countries, authors, organizations/institutions, and citation analysis, impact factor, most frequent author keywords were presented as visualization map, etc
